This raises the point about why the left may want people in electric vehicles so badly, despite the fact that they are not truly cleaner. If more people have electric vehicles, they can grab the balls tighter during a grid down scenario. It gives them more leverage, as you won't be going anywhere without acquiescing to their terroristic demands.

All production vehicles will be electric in 28 years. What do they know that we don't? Is this one big engineered oopsie?
