Sprinter Christophe Lemaitre will not participate in the French athletics championships this weekend in Angers, his team announced in a statement. It was the last opportunity for Christophe Lemaitre to qualify for the Tokyo Olympics (July 23 to August 8) over 200 meters. The Savoyard "is not at 100% of his physical means, following in particular bad reactions to vaccines against COVID-19".

It was at the beginning of May that Christophe Lemaitre was vaccinated against covid-19. "We have seen a clear difference in attitude and performance in training after this vaccine on May 4," explains his trainer Thierry Tribondeau. "At first we did not understand very well, we thought it would only last a few days."

Finally after several weeks it does not pass. "We started running in June, it was a bit late and sluggish." And a choice ended up being necessary: "We made this decision because it was too dangerous for his mental and physical health."

Some will find the idea ludicrous, but I really think TPTB love showing off their power by targeting symbolic individuals. Lemaître in French means the master, or teacher. So the name Christophe Lemaître can be translated to "Bearer of Christ the Master". Much too white, inspiring and popular, and with such a symbolic name. I wouldn't be surprised if he had been purposefully targeted by you-know-who...
