I’m alive after Covid zapped my body and lungs I’m in a private hospital now getting Covid lung therapy this past week to wean me off O2 to 5 liters to get home Monday but it was a battle while regular major hospital two weeks prior. I have lost 30 pounds in two weeks half probably water in lung fluid mostly peed out and rest from hospital food most likely. I tested positive on January 10 at CVS test station pcp rapid test fought for week at home with very fever all week101-193 doing ice water isopropyl alcohol cooling towels and cold showers nothing kept it down then fortunately my daughter had a O2 finger monitor it read only 85 on every finger told wife get me to ER now at 4am on January 17th I was in hospital Covid floor till January 31 before transported to this private hospital. Once here I’ve lost 30 pounds still don’t believe it but I’m recovering nicely don’t have O2 finger monitor any longer shows I’m getting and staying 90 and above even after walking and doing myPT exercises OT checks me out my pulmonologist dr giving me prednisone to prevent Covid scarring my lungs right now but in tapering off slowly the next six weeks to 5 mg a day in the end I was vaxed April 2021 with wife got JandJ vax felt great until January 8 this year I was so sick but now I’ll be cautiously entering public areas I’ll mask up even though we know that doesn’t prevent catching it but still not planning to get Pfizer vax at all due to complications. Oh btw I’m getting anticlotting shot daily in both hospitals it part of their treatment regimen for every Covid patient please don’t screw around if your O2 drops into 80s you’re literally drowning in fluid and get lasix in you to pee it all out it saved my life I believe btw I did get five days of remdesivir steroids and after 3rd day in Covid I fought my Covid Dr to give me monoclonal antibody treatment he gave me Acterma it really saved my life Prayers to all Covid patients fight for monoclonal antibody treatment too
