Excessive Heat Warning for Big Bear in Southern California (doom break time)

actually with the exception of a couple days in the low 80's next week, it'll top out in the 70's. Excessive heat warming for the uber-comfy. Yikes, life should be so hard.

Remember the 116* in OC (7 miles from the beach) two years ago? I was desperately trying to help the little birds that were panting on my balcony try to find shade. Large cool water bowls help.

Weather Underground is traditionally 3* to 10* off. Always 3-10 higher than predicted. I've actually seen more. I monitor this daily.

I didn't get any alert. This alert was for Northern CA, OR, and WA.

OK I thought this would be a Doom Break for those suffering with heat, something like if you're going through financial troubles and then you hear of a friend or relative who got a pay raise or won some money. It's Doom Off for those lucky enough to live in the Southern California mountains region, obviously. And as for the person here who said the heat alert on that page was for the Pacific Northwest, no it's not if you did what I said and were on the WU data page for Big Bear. For example, if you typed in "Las Vegas, nevada", the WU response page will give you the appropriate readings and forecast for Las Vegas, not for Reno, Salt Lake City, or anywhere else. I don't understand some of the negative comments here, I was just trying to bring to the discussion forum a location which is having some really nice Doom Break weather. Wow, some of you need to get outside and enjoy the tyranny.

Big Bear was great place to live in late 80s.I moved to Midwest to be with family and haven't been back since. Great mountain biking back then. 80° up there isn't bad as no humidity up there.
