I think its spoken about in this doc. The older generations had already been exposed to the H1N1 strain and had some immunity to it, where as the young did not.
Quoting: Fhirinne why would the young not get it from their mothers antibodies. makes no sense whatsoever. we can even get immunity from covid with antibodies produced in raw cows milk.
