Is it anything like in Thailand where testing and vaccinations were initially very limited and so was the hype?

We had a year of very few restrictions. Since testing and vaccinating became more common, the hype and hysteria has blown through the roof.

Masks clearly don't work worth a shit, because that's one rule that has been followed here, in the cities anyway.

Until they started mass testing and vaccinations, this country had absolutely no problem with Covid. Make of that what you will.
