The parable is found Luke chapter 10 If the most important rule of the Bible was only followed by one person in the whole kingdom, why be a sucker to get the approval of yet another? The Good Samaritan doesn't make the other Samaritans good--and those are his neighbors. He is just a useful Samaritan. He was good to someone that culturally was not his associate.
