I quit a couple days ago after finding out that the DC Attorney General had subpoenaed facebook's data for every account or Page that had spread "misinformation" about Covid or the vaccine, who could have been causing harm to others. WTF? This isn't the East German Stasi, no......

I quit FB and other social media sites years ago and never missed it once. It was freeing.

I hear friends and family talking about what's going on with FB and I ask them why they're still on it. They respond saying that since everyone else they know uses it, so do they.

People have forgotten that there are other means of communication if they really wanted to stay in contact with those people.

I did that a while ago.

It keeps the morans at bay. You empower them with your speech.

Facebook might be screwing their shareholders over to the extent that they may be liable for damages.

Unfortunately, it really doesn't matter to Facebook that we sane people have left the format. Actually, it's EXACTLY what they want.

I nixed my account the day Facebook banned Trump. Just like that. Over. I wasn't a daily or even weekly user anyway, so really I shouldn't be given huge credit here.

However, looking back, it was probably a mistake. I should have stayed and continue to push FACTS rather than the pure fiction that's there now.

I deleted Facebook on Monday. I thought it would be tougher. It feels really good to be done with it.

I'm going to guess that a)any mutual funds holding shares of FB only look at the numbers and b)individual shareholders probably get up at the annual meeting and recommend/advocate exactly the treatment you were subjected to.
