Fortunately I have had relatives that lived out in the country all my life and we would go to their houses to shoot off fireworks and have a party. I doubt I would have set off any in town- maybe a few firecrackers, sparklers and such- low to the ground things. There was always a big fireworks display put on by the city where I live. You could go to the stadium and watch it- or other strategic lawns, parking lots, tops of buildings to watch.

Ha-ah.. that depends on where you live and what you have access too. Here in Texas, we get lit up with booms and flashes galore. And, no it is not always safe.

It is a lot of fun to see. And, at the same time no increase in structure fires. Probably because we are prepared and respond to it quickly. Anyhow, accidents are more common like people blowing off parts of their hands and getting burned. It can be sad, frightening, and nasty.

I'm all for patriotism. BUT when you live where I live, Los Angeles, and our property is only 6000sqft, we're all sandwiched like sardines in a can. Those fireworks, going off right above my house are not old-school fireworks. Raining hot embers down on a landscape that's one match from starting the neighborhood on fire. COME ON MAN!

Mostly it's the effect on our dogs. Next year we'll have to knock them out completely.

I'm female. Last night was horrible in our neighborhood.
Without seeing the fireworks, you can't tell if she is overeacting. She did feel safe enough to go outside. I didn't.


A lot of posters on this site clearly hate women. That is clear. They must have been turned down too often.

Last night was a war zone. The birds had no exit. For 3 hours, nonstop explosions filled the air. It was utterly ridiculous. The 2 dogs owner by a homeless person hid in the sleeping bag and shivered in absolute terror. My dog hid under my car seat and refused to even go to the bathroom. Way over the top. I tried driving in every direction but it was useless. Shell shock is what PTSD was called describing vets returning home from combat. Just fucking absurd.

Wish I knew the backstory. It looks like 50 year old men she didn't know participating and walking past her on her property. If they were doing that ON my property I would shoot them.

I bet she shit herself or at least got some smelly skid marks with her mental breakdown. Maybe sleepy Joe can go give her a few sniffs for us.

I use live next to a park that set-off fire works every 4th of July. One year one of fireworks landed in the lawn of our apartment building. A large piece of phosphorus landed on the lawn and a small child ran over to pick it up and got severely burned hands.

Yea $1,500 isn't much around here especially because for the first time in 20 years of memory, Skyking Fireworks stopped doing by 1 get 1 free. Now it's buy 1 get 25 percent off next item. That's a huge difference. They said it's because of lack of supplies from China so that had to order in the US, and I'm ok with that, should have always been that way. Kinda something Un-American about all of our fireworks coming from China.

Our local fireworks show lasted about 15 minutes, they were launched from a barge and it was an amazing show. It was only about 100 yards of shore so the concussions felt amazing especially during the finale. But there was an article in a little local paper. They said the fireworks cost the city $40,000 and this was the first year in history they weren't able to cover the cost with the normal donations. Usually 3 main donors cover the tab but they all lean left, and for the first time in 15 years they felt we didn't need an independence day festival and fireworks. Luckily last night enough donations were collected to cover the bill and keep the cost out of the city's pocket. Everyone was cheering when they announced that, like a big F-You to those lib tards who now feel after hundreds of years all the sudden if you celebrate the 4th you are a white supremacist terrorist. It really was a good feeling they couldn't stop all the local patriots. And most importantly like I posted the other day, I taught my 10yo son all about the 4th and what it's all about. He was just asking more questions about an hour ago, and good questions, questions your proud your son asks. Sorry for the rant, but F these Lib tards, this is one of the funniest videos I've seen in a while.
