We are going to check the true nature of the cardinal points - EAST, WEST, NORTH, SOUTH - we already encountered in various verses, in Zechariah 6.


Indeed, they are of utmost importance in two cases to decipher what Christ really wanted to say for they dramatically change the meaning of his words for key situations. Here, again, it escaped about all the 'experts'.


EAST - WEST:

Luke 17:24 For the Son of Man in his day will be like the lightning, which flashes and lights up the sky from one end to the other.

Matthew 24:27 For as lightning that comes from the east is visible even in the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.


First, note that 'flashes and lights up the sky' could also be understood as UFO appearances. But what really matters here is the hidden meaning of BEGINNING - END of EAST- WEST for the latter represent the start and the end of the day because the sun rises in the east and sets in the west.

As a matter of fact, Christ speaks about 'his day' we saw lasts 7 years, once unseen, once seen as Christ, hence twice 7 years: Two Witnesses (3.5 years) + Antichrist (3.5 years), THEN Rapture of the Great Multitude (7 years).

In other words, the stake is the double coming of Christ, once as the White Horseman, very first seal corresponding to the Lord of the earth being with the Two Witnesses standing before him (they both come together), once as the leader of the army of angels of God coming to harvest the chosen ones. Those comings are separated by 7 years, the very duration of one of 'his day', due to the Shmita law for the sacred agriculture, itself being from the rule of Sabbath, the '7th period'.



NORTH - SOUTH:

Daniel 11:5-6 “The king of the South will become strong, but one of his commanders will become even stronger than he and will rule his own kingdom with great power. After some years, they will become allies.

The daughter of the king of the South will go to the king of the North to make an alliance, but she will not retain her power, and he and his offspring will not last. In those days she will be betrayed, together with her royal escort and her child and the one who supported her.

“One from her family line will arise to take her place. He will attack the forces of the king of the North and enter his fortress; he will fight against them and be victorious.


Here North and South define kings having the main roles for the WWIII. As we saw, there are changes of kings and of natures of their mis/deeds. It is therefore essential to not confuse their origin for the prophecy would not have the least meaning nor utility. (Dan 11 is the longest chapter!)


We find the word 'NORTH' in several verses where it clearly is NOT a geographical relative situation. These occurrences are different from all the others which have such relative reference (north of somewhere or something). Check the contexts yourself to better see that 'north' means 'heaven'.


Job 26:5-6 “The dead are in deep anguish, those beneath the waters and all that live in them. The realm of the dead is naked before God; Destruction lies uncovered. He spreads out the northern skies over empty space; he suspends the earth over nothing.


Job 37:21-22 Now no one can look at the sun, bright as it is in the skies after the wind has swept them clean. Out of the north he comes in golden splendor; God comes in awesome majesty.


Psalm 89:11-12 The heavens are yours, and yours also the earth; you founded the world and all that is in it. You created the north and the south; Tabor and Hermon sing for joy at your name.


Difficult to be clearer: the heavens are the North; the earth is the South!


Isaiah 14:31 Wail, you gate! Howl, you city! Melt away, all you Philistines! A cloud of smoke comes from the north, and there is not a straggler in its ranks.


How 'a straggler' be in the rank of a simple cloud from the north...if not an angel in a ship from heaven?


Isaiah 41:25 “I have stirred up one from the north, and he comes — one from the rising sun who calls on my name. He treads on rulers as if they were mortar, as if he were a potter treading the clay.


Jeremiah 51:48 Then heaven and earth and all that is in them will shout for joy over Babylon, for out of the north destroyers will attack her,” declares the Lord.


Ezekiel 1:1 In my thirtieth year, in the fourth month on the fifth day, while I was among the exiles by the Kebar River, the heavens were opened and I saw visions of God.

Ezekiel 1:4 I looked, and I saw a windstorm coming out of the north — an immense cloud with flashing lightning and surrounded by brilliant light. The center of the fire looked like glowing metal,


Of course, in a vision, we don't know where the geographical north is!


Now, let us look at Zechariah 6. This chapter is very similar to Revelation 6 where the four horsemen are described.


Zechariah 6:1-3 I looked up again, and there before me were four chariots coming out from between two mountains — mountains of bronze. The first chariot had red horses, the second black, the third white, and the fourth dappled — all of them powerful.


Note that 'dappled' could mean 'gray' like the fourth horse in Rev 6 is 'pale'. Now, the so-called cardinal points:

Zechariah 6:6 The one with the black horses is going toward the north country, the one with the white horses toward the west, and the one with the dappled horses toward the south.”

So, here we have:

- Black = NORTH.
- White = WEST.
- Dappled = SOUTH.


Where is 'Red'? The only missing 'direction' is EAST! It is not indicated among the others because the humans can't see it on earth!


Look at their respective correspondence in Rev 6.

- White = Return of Christ = WEST.
- Red = War in Heaven = EAST.
- Black = Rapture of the 144,000 = NORTH.
- Pale = WWIII = SOUTH.


As the return of Christ aims at harvesting the Great Multitude at the end since he must conquer the world first, His 'direction' is WEST, the end of his day, 7 years from now since unseen as Christ for 7 years ('one of his day').

As the War in Heaven starts at the beginning of the End Times, its 'direction' is EAST.

As the rapture of the 144,000 aims at leading them to heaven, their 'direction' is NORTH.

As the WWIII takes place on earth, its 'direction' is SOUTH.


If the order of the four horsemen follows those of the appearance of the four living creatures in the Cambridge family, the order in Zechariah 6 follows another logic, those of the people chosen and taken: first the 144,000, then the Great Multitude, then no one else, from earth.

That is why 'red / east' is not mentioned among the others, for the fate is the other way around, from heaven to earth (Satan and fallen angels hurled down to earth).


Remember the four horsemen representing the four human living creatures (Leo, Taurus, Aquarius and Sagittarius)? This verse below perfectly fits, since they are characters to come down to earth, to return as a whole family looking like each other through their common faces in Ezekiel 1:


Zechariah 6:7 When the powerful horses went out, they were straining to go throughout the earth. And he said, “Go throughout the earth!” So they went throughout the earth.


Here, below, we find the NORTH again. It corresponds to the HEAVEN, as already showed. Because the 144,000 elect were victorious of parts, or all, of the 7 challenges of the 7 letters to the 7 churches, they pleased God whose Spirit can be at rest with them.


Zechariah 6:8 Then he called to me, “Look, those going toward the north country have given my Spirit rest in the land of the north.”


So, with all that in mind, we have understood that EAST - WEST represents the TIME AXIS (BEGINNING - END), and that NORTH - SOUTH represents the SPACE AXIS (HEAVEN - EARTH).

That way, we better understand that Christ comes TWICE, and that the King of the North is from heaven, and the King of the South is from earth.
