Coronaviruses are a group of related RNA viruses that cause diseases in mammals and birds. In humans and birds, they cause respiratory tract infections that can range from mild to lethal. Wow lol they changed the story on the origin. A woman doctor discovered coronaviruses like 50-60 years ago and fought to prove t was different than the flu. She got a picture of it and named it corona due to the appearance of a crown around it
