It could be bad for either house if it fell. Fortunately for me it's leaning slightly in his direction. It wouldn't hurt to add a webbing strap to the tree as high as easily attached, to a ground anchor, and direct the tree to where you want it to go, rather than leave it to chance where it will go. It's on my neighbor's property. I don't think he'd be ok with me making sure it falls on his house.
