So-called centrists and soft-soft conservatives, particularly in today's America - when US-hating liberalism is running wild - are often no better than flat-out flaming liberals are.

There was a study done in Europe a few years ago that found people on the right tended to be more attractive than people on the left were. I believe the authors of that study focused on mainly public figures, but they apparently were left leaning too. They concluded that conservative types were more attractive because they never had to suffer the slings and arrows of life as homely liberals supposedly had to.

Liberals actually are ugly on the inside too. Other studies and surveys through the decades has found them to be less generous (regardless of income), less happy (regardless who's in the White House) and less knowledgeable about current events too.
