Office workers rips employer of $250,000, asks judge for 2 DAYS in jail

I just thought this local story would amuse some readers here. 43 y/o Christy Lopez methodically stole hundreds of thousands of dollars from Nucor Steel where she worked, over a period of years. Finally caught, she did the crocodile tear thingy and through her lawyer, asked the judge for mercy, saying she was real sorry. No mention of where the money is, although the gambling town of Laughlin is right across the Colorado River in Nevada a couple miles away.

But real kicker is that the judge sentenced her to three years in prison and tells her, when you get out you have ONE YEAR to pay back the quarter million bucks.

Anybody wanna guess how that'll play out?
