For a long time my list was: 1. RSV version of the Bible 2. The Herb Book by John Lust 3. US Navy Corpsman's Manual from 1939 I'm just going through those books again and remembering why they were so good to have. "Yes, yes. Zathras is used to being beast of burden to other people's needs. Very sad life. Probably have very sad death. But, at least there is symmetry."
