When I was in the Marines, I refused a set of shots/pills they tried to force on us.

Our company commander said it was voluntary but, "I will have 100% participation in my Company!!"

He did not get that. In refusing I almost got into a fistfight with a Staff Sergeant and the Company Commander threatened to take my rank for setting a bad example as an NCO with the troops.

I didn't give a shit, was never going to take it even if busted all the way to private.

They never took my rank in the end and it further cemented my reputation as someone not to fuck with.

My father was forced experimental vaccinations in the military. He wasn't given a choice. I'm assuming it's always been that way.
