I don't disagree with them or why they did it in this case but its ridiculous to act like this happened on both sides of the isle. Improving security for voting integrity is not a bad thing, even if it requires you having to have I.D.
To say blacks don't have funds, mental capability is defaming excuse, esp' when blacks know how to get I.D. for a cellphone and getting the Vaccine.
Why isn't it discriminatory to tell black people they need I.D. to get the vaccine and not for voting?

In the instance below, the Republican lawmakers who left Oregon felt THE PEOPLE SHOULD VOTE, rather than lawmakers enacting law without the consent of the people.

This is how a Republic is supposed to work. It is to be done by the consent of the Governed.

Here in Washington state the voter's voted to put a cap on vehicle licence tab taxes.
