Super Weirdness in NYC Just Now

I'm in an outer Boro of NYC.
Not Manhattan.

The other night, I thought I heard an explosion in the distance.
This has happened here a bunch of times in the last.... 6 months.

Nothing in the news. No follow up. Other neighbors hear it and feel it.


So about 15 min ago..
11:45 pm



A huge truck, that makes a loud grinding hum as it drives. It just drove down my street.
Its 11:45 pm here....

They had a loud speaker going.Red flashing lights.

Never in my whole life has this occurred here,with a moud speaker.... Never, and it was saying :


STAY IN YOUR HOMES, then something about an explosion.

Needless to say, I heard no explosion.... Not tonight.

Then I heard it going up and down all the streets over here.
The grinding noise it makes can be heard over the loud speaker.

So I called my friend about half mile away.
Nothing by him.

I'm wondering if this was a dry run.
