That's bullshit letting vaxxed be maskless while requiring uncaxxed to be masked.

Exactly. Imagine all the lawsuits and outcry if they said whites didn't have to wear masks but blacks, Hispanics, and/or Asians had to.
Hell the employer would likely go to prison for a hate crime in addition to his/her business being shut down, sued and heavily fined. Yet it's considered perfectly acceptable to discriminate against someone and force them to wear a muzzle because they're unvaxxed.

sounds like he is trying to bully/shame you into getting the vax. dont take it too personally. he may be having his own doubts now and is trying to alleviate them by going after you. you're an easy target because of the mask, a constant visual reminder that he may have made the wrong choice!

Not sure what field you work in but if the vaxxed start falling ill, we may need you. All the unvaccinated will need to step into positions that are needed.

I would however, start quietly looking for a position that would be a move up for you though, God could be nudging you somewhere else.

Prepare an email AND print it out. With links to as many REAL science based stuff showing what a shitshow he's participating in. Show him where CDC and the WHO move the goal posts every single day, flip-flopping. Show him the list of patents from the late '90s pertaining to this shit.

If you're concerned about being fired sneakily, talk to a lawyer what to do if anything. Your boss could just say he was concerned about your health with his comment. He might even feel he was, in his mentally screwed up vaxed state.

If you were to do anything, it would involve filing something with HR, not discussing the merits of vaxes with your boss. Probably, do nothing.

Actually sounds like you're relatively secure there. Corporate politics isn't based on being nice and getting along, more like threats and practicality. He needs you. You're probably safe as long as that's true. If he starts training a replacement (this happened to me), start looking, but you'll have time.

It's an employee job market today. Want a job, you'll have 50 within a week. They aren't firing anyone, even the hospitals that claim this shit, yet aren't firing anyone for NOT getting their shots. I have family that refuse, and they're still working.

Simply say that you aren't qualified to get it even if you wanted, medical reasons. Leave it at that. There's zero more to say.

He is living in fear. He is just venting. I don't know if you feel threatened or why, or just uncomfortable with the atmosphere. You are promised comfort. You are dealing with other humans.

I wouldn't make such a bit deal out of it. Ask if they are satisfied with your work. Say something like you appreciate his concern for his brother and you, and that decisions have consequences, and you are prepared and comfortable with the decisions you have made and that you have no fear of death. You can throw factual data out at him until the cows come home and it wouldn't matter.

Are you good at your job? Do they need you? If so, go in tomorrow and tell him that you’ve made a decision to not wear a mask anymore. Tell him you know his policy is you have to wear a mask. Then ask him what the next steps are. Don’t offer specifics. Don’t let the reason why become a conversation. If anything just reiterate that you’ve made a final decision.

It is a tight labor market. Don’t put up with BS.

Not sure there is anything you can do legally. It's not sexual harassment and employers aren't bound by HIPAA.

OP, the reality in the job market today is that you need to think of yourself not as an employee, but an independent contractor. You are the proud owner of Your Services, Inc. and will work for the highest bidder under the most ideal work environment. You are, for all intents and purposes, self-employed.

With that in mind, take a careful inventory of the job itself. All the facets - money, benefits, retirement plan, company culture, opportunities for advancement, location, co-workers, opportunities for advancement, and anything else. Do some deep thinking about whether you really want to be working there or not.

What does your gut instinct tell you?

Weigh these items carefully before making a decision, and make sure you have another job offer om hand before you start making waves with HR, Legal, or anyone else.
