These people are doing everything to manipulate the market. It's a clown show and serious business. When XRP moves, the market is pushed down. Currency wars....they, the forces of the State are spooked, trying to keep the lid on something massive. Divert capital into BTC, Eth, push novice retail into memes. The State is weak and desperate, but sometimes that wins.

I'm pessimistic, for the first time, won't show it on social media. We should already be at $10...peace

Re: The XRP Investor Thread
Was noticing something that completely blew my mind with SHIB - it's daily volume has been either as large as or greater than the spot market volume of BTC.

Here's an example from Coinbase:

https://imgur.com/a/nZWFJIp

Binance isn't as dramatic, but still impressive:

https://imgur.com/a/m1Nzy9Q

Watching the ebb and flow of the volume of each the past few days, I'm sort of suspecting that there is a trade happening between BTC and SHIB where profits are taken in one to trade up the other.

Sort of makes you wonder what it will be like for XRP once it is able to trade on the US market again.
 Quoting: nemo_solus

BTC volume has been really low throughout this last little push, something I've had my eye on as well. I for sure think there are those taking profit as we speak which is why I don't think 100K is that reasonable at this time.

BTC market dominance continues to fall, so although not technically impossible to see BTC 100K this year, I'm also leaning more towards the conclusion that folks are beginning to take profits out of BTC and cycling into Alts. The run up in SHIB could likely be the beginning of the cycle.

Have been looking at what sort of projects will be the "big thing" this next cycle (as the NFT craze was last cycle).

As much as SHIB is a "memecoin", it also is trying to incorporate several other features such as dex, NFT and other utility functions. Not sure if it will actually happen, but I think it may point the way to what will run best in this upcoming Alt cycle - solutions to Ethereum scaling problem, the so-called "Layer-2 solutions", decentralized exchanges and other kinds of projects that solve blockchain problems and have utility.

Not giving up on XRP and am continuing to hold as I do believe it has good long-term prospects, but it's also clear at this point that it won't be free from the SEC lawsuit for many months to yet come and will likely miss out on major (as in 10x or more) growth this next Alt Season.

Haven't made any final decisions yet, but my candidate list outside any memecoins of opportunity to trade long is (in no particular order):

DyDx
MetisDAO
Uniswap
Tokemak
1inch Network
Solana

I'd be interested in knowing other's thoughts on what might be the favorites this next cycle.

Looking at my CB debit card history, there are several unprocessed transactions from August 2021. I presume the businesses didn't have bank routing information to allow crypto, so they stay in "pending"..I am debited but the credit remains in the banks of Coinbase. Will CB reinvest that in the mean time? How much transparency is in the "pending" transaction checks and balance??

There is a coin on the XRPL called XRdoge. it's on fire right now. I got a free airdrop of 3750000 and then I put an extra 6 bucks down on it to make it a little over 4 million. My bag is worth almost 200 bucks now. Go get it. Its cheap and its going to catch up to SHIB.

I completely agree. It makes me think there's a chance we get some discounted prices on XRP one more time. The amount of manipulation is unreal. IMO the price of XRP should be beyond $10 and I don't say that with bias but with objectivity.

I very much think you are right, that it is still many months away for XRP to be free to make it's move. Patience is key on that but I see no reason not to make money elsewhere.

I'm a utility guy not a memecoiner so I can't offer any insight as to what might be popular coming up but there will be a utility run at some point and it will be glorious.

Always interested in what you have to say, stick around more? rose

If you had thoughts on whether this dreadful ETH gas fees problem is going to be solved, that would be great to hear.

Also - does the ETH gas fees problem affect the utility of projects?

Or are the fees incurred only when a person goes to move or trade assets, not when the projects are doing the work they are designed to do?

I know I could read up more on this and I will, rather than ask you.

I have thought of swapping out of ERC20 tokens into
XRP-XLM-XDC

But now I'm getting the impression that not all ERC20 tokens incur the ETH gas fees?

Well that's a lot to think about. Just putting all that here for the sake of conversation.

It's my understanding that the gas fees do not affect the utility and instead are simply paid by the purchaser. I could very well be wrong though. If there are ERC tokens that do not incur gas fees I would very much like to know what they are as I haven't come across that yet.

I had set up my Ledger for the snapshot, and I just set up my metamask for Songbird. Wrapped and delegated on Bifrost.

$1.02 zerps when ETH is 4K and BTC is 59K is the most blatant in your face manipulation you could see. What will the price of XRP be if BTC goes to $30K? -$2?
