leverage or normal?

I'm itching to buy the dip but I bought some XLM on Saturday that's still being held by Coinbase. First time they ever put a 5 day hold on my funds. Now I'm paranoid about buying more.

I bought another 3M shib.

uhhh isnt there a recent thread about coinbase possibly going bankrupt :(

nothing worse than when they hold your crypto
even my local dutch platform held my XRP for almost 24 hours the other day

im really thinking about moving everything away when i get home.
xumm or the cold wallet
but im sceptical about the cold wallet and i like xumm.

anyone else think XUMM is good enough?

if we see one platform after another collapse that sounds like theft to me. because sure coinbase can go bankrupt (apparently) but the cryptos you have on their platform dont suddenly disappear... and it makes you wonder where those would go if the platform goes POOF.

I was watching the Bloomberg Crypto report earlier and they said it cant happen to tether as it is (supposedly) matched by an actual dollar whereas UTC is algorithmic so vulnerable to swigs.

They also said its gonna be rough short term but $100K BTC in not too distant future.

22c XRP is the signal.

soooo. not only did i open another leverage, like i said i wouldnt.
i also didnt use test money.........

it literally went to -78% in 2 minutes after i opened it.

after almost having my 5th hearthattack since i started "testing" leverage.. its now sitting at +15%

I hold about 85% on my Ledger and 15% on my XUMM, I trust both.

The news about Coinbase literally came out in the past 24 hours, and that's the only platform I have hooked up to a bank account, and the only platform I've ever used as a fiat on ramp. The only other option to buy more right now would be uphold, and I don't trust them for nothing.

This is what I’m worried about. I wanted to move a BIG chunk in through Coinbase but they will hold it, and they just said my money is at risk.

ledger was the name i was looking for.
I got the big one, the S i guess. never put anything on there tho. seems a bit annoying with the little buttons etc.
i will look in to it more over the weekend.
i always feel very happy knowing i got 20% of my XRP on xumm.
i should put at least 30% on ledger so i got my stuff in diverse locations.

you dont have anything on a platform and i should do the same with my main bag.
its too easy to take bits and use/lose it for leverage.

XUMM has been good for me. I've kept my grip of XRP on there after cashing out the majority of my holdings when XRP hit $1.80.

Never had any issues with XUMM but have had plenty of issues with exchanges like coinbase and uphold.

Uphold Holdup are literal thieves and are extremely incompetent. I'll never do business with them again. It was a miracle I got my assets off that criminal enterprise of an exchange.

and on top of that, every time something big happens coinbase has issues with log-ins etc

Xumm is good. That's where I hold all my real shit.

Yep. Anytime it's necessary to sell the exchange goes down.

The Ledger is super easy. Just use the Ledge Live app on phone or desktop.

But lately I've been using the XRPtoolkit interface, it's even easier and simpler.

I don't think you can truly feel the power of crypto until you send XRP or XLM through the toolkit or StellarX. It's so lightning fast, simple interface, almost free. It's ridiculous. BTC and ETH maxis have zero clue.

i will check both the desktop app and the xrptoolkit.
the toolkit seems like the best/coolest way of doing things.

granted i use bybit.
but look at how shady these people are!!
random maintenance at the moment its most needed to trade leverage...

almost as bad as coinbase stopping you from selling/buying when its needed
