Re: The XRP Investor Thread
Exactly I don't want to turn this into Old Classic Traditional Country, Bluegrass and Rockabilly DJ Wars.

But I'd make a separate twitter account just to have fun with that with you!

I'll follow you but my twitter is needing some clarity.

I went on twitter for crypto airdrops and the XRP riddlers.

But then I got into this very cool subculture of ancient history on there - the stone nubs on ancient masonry all around the world - that is a corner of twitter that is tightly knit, alive and responsive.

From there I found a twitter world of Iraqi archaeologists who I swear are in the very beginnings of some kind of ancient cultural and spiritual rebirth -

and you can't get away from politics and the horrible medical tyranny

So if I start going down mid century country gospel rabbit holes and early western swing and rockabilly

my poor twitter will be a disaster and everyone will block me chuckle

However! I could use a shot in the arm

and I can say that again

I could use a shot in the arm (I have said i didn't think I could listen to Wilco again for a long time because of associations BUT

Maybe all I need is a shot in the arm

I got all kinds of obscure country music in my library! If I had to listen to one genre for the rest of my life it would be country gospel. Cash, Elvis and Hank got me started on it.

Follow me on twatter @ilustfortornado

 Quoting: BLACK GHOST

If money was no object I would buy all the garden centers on the Hi-Line and build them into a chain of garden centers with dry music venues built into them, I'd start sewing schools for people to learn to make decorated western themed clothing, and have giant pictures of all the classic country albums blown up on all the walls. I'd make the Hi-Line into the premier tour stops for the best bluegrass and Bloodshot-type touring country bands.

That's what I want to do with my XRP zillions chuckle
We'll see. I'm not getting any younger, I'm going to take a couple of years and find the Fountain of Youth first.

Re: The XRP Investor Thread
Samguy, it's good for us to think about what we will do if and when XRP really does reach its potential high value.

We don't want to be like those lottery winners you read about, where winning the lottery destroyed their lives.

My thought is that it would be best if people had a plan for how to invest or stake their crypto so they could have a reasonable income where they could cover their expenses and afford to be generous, WITHOUT killing the goose that laid the golden eggs.

A lot of people have this idea that they want to be some kind of saint and give it all away, and that's fine I guess if that's what people want to do.

but if they spent some time learning about how to manage assets to produce income, they would be able to multiply their generosity to benefit generations to come.

I don't really see the virtue in just giving it all away honestly.

Then the people you gave it to will just spend it, and neither of you will have anything left in the end, and be right back where you started.

It's that cycle that we have the potential to break if we play our cards right.

(I'm sure you've thought about it - I'm just speaking generally)

Re: The XRP Investor Thread
Hey all,

Bought some HBAR and want to get into some XLM but I am on Uphold. Got a nano coming and have a question. At least I'll be able to move my beloved XRP to the nano from Uphold.

1) What wallet should I add to move the HBAR to in order to get it onto the nano?

2) Who should I buy XLM through to be able to do the same?

Ledger?

Thank you!
 Quoting: Samguy

Howdy Samguy,

It was a little annoying for me to move the XRP I had on Uphold to a Ledger device, mostly because I had to install the Uphold mobile app to do it as the functionality wasn't showing up on their browser based UI. It worked fine once I figured it out. :)

Not sure about the XLM question, could you not also purchase XLM via Uphold as well?

I mostly use Coinbase to on-ramp fiat to Crypto and almost always use XLM to transfer off exchange. They aren't without their occasional issues, but in my experience, they are better than most. Kucoin is also trustworthy, but thier interface is a bit odd (in my opinion, of course) and bringing in fiat can be a challenge.
 Quoting: nemo_solus

Thank you nemo, will def check out kucoin!
 Quoting: Samguy

Sure, you are welcome!

Also, just wanted to make a correction.

Although I do use KuCoin quite a bit myself, especially for the lower marketcap coins you don't usually find on the larger exchanges, I had intended to recommend Kraken instead, just got my "K"s mixed up while writing...

Hopefully, whatever exchange you are using, you are having a good experience.

Re: The XRP Investor Thread

Just becoming aware of the riddles and all I can say is WOW.

I had a dream that meant something, just don't know what.
Feel free to chime in. I had prayed to Yahshua asking if I am going down the wrong road. I have been putting alot of spiritual energy into trying to get a handle on understanding XRP's future validity and spending all my available money that I can afford to lose and still get by. More concerned if this is going against what our Lord would want me to be doing with my time while here and, does it displease Him, not about if I would lose the money. That night I had one of the message dreams I have been having.

I was told by my secretary (like I said, it was a dream) that I had to sell 10 XRP. Thing was, for each one I had to be stung by a bee. I then was leaned over my desk, arms folded and shirt off. Yellow jackets would then one at a time fly over and sting me on my back. After several, I was like, when is this going to be over! This sucks!! Woke up.
 Quoting: Samguy

Not sure of the relevance to your dream or not, but I'll point out that the current minimum reserve requirement to activate an XRP address is 10 XRP:

This particular passage is always a great reminder to make sure our priorities are in the right order, and I've often reflected on it.

... But it deserves to be remarked here, that the apostle does not say that "money is the root of all evil," or that it is an evil at all. It is the "love" of it which is the source of evil.
Quoting: Barnes' Notes on The Bible

For the love of money is the root of all evil,.... Of all the evils before mentioned, and of others; not money itself, as silver and gold, which are God's creatures, and his gifts, and may be used to, and answer many good purposes; but the love of it, and not any love of it; for there may be a lawful love of it, and desire after it, so far as it is requisite to the necessaries of life, to answer the calls of Providence, the duties we owe to God and men, to serve the interest of Christ, and do good to fellow creatures and fellow Christians: but it is an immoderate insatiable desire after it, and an inordinate love of it, which is here meant, such as is properly idolatry: as when a man loves it, not only besides, but above God; serves it as if it was God, and places his trust and confidence in it, independent of God, and his providence; such love of it is the source and spring of all iniquity, as above; it was the sin of Judas, and the root of all his iniquity. The phrase is get lost. So idolatry is said to be , "the root of all iniquities" (q); see Hebrews 12:15

Thanks nemo. I actually have a Kraken account, my first foray was to buy doge, bought 175. worth at .42, sold at .12 lol! Hadn't thought of Kraken since then. Thought that was the end of that until I got wise to XRP. At this point I am about done buying and hunkering down hodl'ing.

I made this page for the crypto beginner who knows nothing, for a place to start, it is not intended to be the only way to do things, it's just one way to get and hold crypto.

If a person learned how to buy, send and hold crypto from this information then they could go and make other choices for other exchanges and wallets.

So don't take it as if I am saying this is the only way to do things because of course it isn't.

but if a person doesn't know anything, at least its one place to start.

And before people jump in and start attacking the choices I'm presenting here, do a good job presenting your better alternative in a way that helps the beginner, because that's all this page is for, the beginner.

[link to start.me (secure)]

Also note how helpful that site, start.me is, you can do so much with so little there! You can organize all your bookmarks, notes and resources, for anything you are studying.

I'm pretty sure google used to have homepages, wasn't that google+?
But they ended it?

A lot of browsers have a new tab page that functions as a home page, Pale Moon has worked well for me that way, Brave not so much.

I"m trying to get away from being lazy and just clicking on the "most visited sites" that turn up the same every time on the new tabs.

So I finally am making an actually useful home page with the start.me

I make so many pages and then they get all loaded up with random stuff and cease being useful.

So this time I"m going to keep it clean and hope that if I make accounts with Bitchute, Rumble, and alternative social media platforms, maybe I'll get off youtube and twitter so much.

My sun sign = Aries rose

Saturn in Capricorn in the 6th might work like a Saturn sun sometimes, it's been getting a lot of heavy transits, coming out of second Saturn return. So, maybe I seem very Saturnine, I'm sure I do. Need to make that as positive as I can since there seems no escaping it right now.
