Can never have too much or too little of crypto.

I always feel like I should be holding more XRP. My bags are getting heavy but I never feel like I have enough lol. I'm trying to be patient and DCA on the way down. If we get down in the .20s it will be buy time once again!

I keep seeing RPR discussed and have been researching the project. Read the white paper and it seems like a great project even outside the crypto space. Definitely want to get in on that one.

Have been waiting to switch XLM to XRP and looking to get best bang for the buck. What makes XLM gain vs XRP?

Have seen a one month range variance of:
Low:0.3038 XRP to High:0.4608 XRP

I always heard

XRP is for institutional, interbank use

XLM is for individual, peer to peer use

One thing about XRP is that it might get taken off exchanges altogether, no one knows.

It was already restricted trading here.

It might end up being a coin that "is not meant for retail".

There have been rumors of a buyback - by the US Treasury or Federal Reserve

If you held it indefinitely (like 10 years from now?) maybe XRP might not be as easy to cash out?

No one knows.

But XLM - is always for trading, sending, swapping, moving, USING.

XLM is extremely useful and versatile, it goes in almost all wallets, it trades on every exchange, it's unrestricted, fast cheap and easy to send, it's so reliable.

XRP and XLM are very similar - I can't think of a reason not to hold both.

I have taken that to heart, yes, you've been pretty vocal about XLM's value. I am planning to trade approx 2/3 of the XLM for XRP and then thinking about using a portion of the remaining XLM for XDC, HBAR, and ALGO. So, would like to end up with majority of my holding in XRP, then XLM, and then smaller spreads on the others. Listening to Black Ghost and others saying don't f around, get 'er done now vs wanting to make the best play for my $$ is maddening, ha. Was fortunate to have this overtime present itself and took every hour I could get for this opportunity to pack more. I want to make every dollar count!

It's funny, even without considering all the craziness and fear ramping up in our world, it does feel like a spring is tightening. Almost like back in the day, when the birth of my sons was drawing near. We know the PTB's are playing us like a violin, anything goes, like it or not. Don't mean to be gloom and doom..

Really appreciate every single persons input and knowledge here. You all are like an island of refuge with the support and sharing of our dreams and hopes.

CB sorta-fixed the running balance by subtracting the ETH2 from avail bal, yet they are not pegging value to the WLUNA between the line chart and the numerical balance. So math, people.

Does anyone remember if they corrected this issue after GYEN carshed?

Charitable foundations, loaning against your crypto rather than realising gains is the way to save on taxes. Remember you can claim all your losses against your total profits for capital gains (for uk at least).

Just bought a decent bag of XLM at Coinbase, sent it to Lobster, traded for XRP on StellarX, sent to XUMM wallet, all in under 5 minutes.

So How did you get the XRP off of lobstr? I have some XRP sitting on lobstr but the whole not your keys thing makes me want to get it to a XUUM wallet. I linked lobstr to Stellar X but the only way to send the XRP is to a stellar address (I assume because the XRP is actually just a token). I think my mistake is that I exchanged for the XRP on lobstr not StellarX. I guess my only way forward is to convert back to XLM then use StellarX (now that I have it wallet connected) then convert to XRP then send that to XUUM. This isn't rocket science but sometimes getting your assets where you need it is confusing. I blame the SEC for this.

You have to make sure you are using the "withdrawable" xrp trustline.

Get the fchain.io XRP, not interstallar.io.

fchain.io you can withdraw to wallet.

Great job of using the tools and resources we have available to us!

These decentralized wallets on Stellar and the XRPL have incredible potential.

I really need to try the swap to xrp that you did.

And in my opinion, if you swap XLM to that fchain.io XRP - do remove it to XUMM ASAP. It will be "real" XRP in your XUMM wallet.

There's no such thing as 'real' or 'fake' XRP, it's just what ledger they're on. fchain.io is RippleFox, the main Chinese app running on the XRPL. So you're just buying XRP from a particular company's liquidity pool. Just like if you bought it off Uphold or Binance. The only difference is the interstellar.io doesn't allow withdrawals.

It's all XRP. But I agree, keep it all on your private wallet.

Yup that was the key, takes forever to transfer from interstellar to fchain and I lose a cent for every dollar of XRP but it does work and I can withdraw the fchain.io.

So that's the big takeaway for anyone using lobstr. Make sure when you buy/exchange for XRP on lobstr use the fchain.io XRP version.
