Seek the partnerships, you will never lose. Dark and light. As above, so below. Even psyops operate on this principle. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 80580055 Remember it takes many ingredients to create a three star restaurant meal. Don't forget oracles, they will play a big role. The only thing up for grabs appears to be the Defi ecosystems. Tokenized assets of all flavors are necessary because the old world is over. There will be economic expansion the likes you will not believe. Without it, QFS is not necessary. New tech, new measures of value, a new social order. What, you say? Quoting: Anonymous Coward 80580055 Example, 10-20 years ago what did you think of Google, Facebook, Twitter, Amazo etc. Not so much right? What value to the human condition did it impart. Little, ot detracted. But 10 years hence, it was impossible to conduct one's life effectively w/o online platforms. Same now. Control, surveillance, machine, digital ....efficient, rapid, sterile, impersonal. Get ready. You have a 5-10 year window to capitalize, then position....then the future will be dependent on the moral, physical and intellectual capacity of the remant...They give you a chance after all the adversarial BS Spot on. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 72598022 United States 09/18/2021 09:26 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | They haven't spoken on the subject either way yet. We'll see what happens. Quoting: Luminous Epinoia CB also didn't mention SHIB until it had been live for a few hours on their platform. I had it on my watch list and it popped up in the "discover more assets". I bought, post on here, then in a delayed timeframe it was defined on CB "discover more assets" as being live 3 hours. So, I'll calculate the time stamp between my purchase, and when CB announced as live. CB [currently] has SHIB posted as being "added" 16 hours ago, which is last night. Yet I bought it in the afternoon. So if you have something on your watch list, you get to jump in there, but otherwise, there is no information flow, no countdown, like SEC IPO's. Very strange. The more knowledge comes out about them, the less they are "for the people". Just their CS alone is enough to make you wonder. That's pretty crazy. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 72598022 United States 09/18/2021 09:30 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Edit to add: I'm bullish overall on XLM, gut feelings included. If was was reckless I would put my whole bank account into XLM, but I've done that so many times, and I've hit the place in my precarious and dismal workplace life that I better hang onto my fiat, because I am so close to quitting my job that it's as though I have already done it. Absolutely poised to walk off the job. Quoting: Vision Thing Edit to add again - it was mentioned elsewhere that when Starlink went down a few weeks ago, whenever that was, Stellar Network went down too, and people's XLM sends got hung up for hours. My ears sure pricked up when I heard that - could Stellar Network be running on Starlink? Fascinating idea, because I believe Starlink is masquerading as private enterprise and that secretly it is really directly under Space Force. Good for you! Get out of any situation that doesn't make you happy. I have been fist broke for the past three years and if I ever need it I just pull it out somewhere. That way the fiat is working for me all the time. The Starlink stuff is quite interesting and since you mentioned it, I've dug into it more and am inclined to agree with you. I'm not sure if it's XLM correlated but there's certainly more than meets the eye on this one. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 77187632 United States 09/18/2021 09:35 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Anyway I heard some of the projects being built on Stellar are for tokenizing commodities and the stock market and precious metals and real estate . . . . we probably won't know the end game or outcome of these things for quite some time but it's fun to think about the possibilities. Quoting: Vision Thing I've actually heard this about XRP but it would seem to make more sense for it to be on Stellar. Interesting times to see this all play out over the next few years. |

You will lose your XDC. Quoting: Vision Thing How/why is that? Ok, here is another stupid question, why does CB only promote the wallet for the phone? Why not have a wallet app for the desktop/laptop? XDC used to be an ERC20 token? I think? They changed it and it's not anymore. Coinbase Wallet supported the old expired version. Not the new current version. At least, that's my limited understanding, and it's not at all clear when you look at it in the wallet. Wish CB Wallet had a desktop version too! That would be great. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 77773358 As an XRP whale, I find it very encouraging to see such insightful comments and opinions from (presumably) everyday XRP hodlers. Thanks for the kind words! I think there's a mixed bag of hodlers here with a range from tiny bags to whale bags. Good thing it won't take a lot in the end to get there (: |

Quoting: Vision Thing I'll also point out that the Coinbase Card gives you a choice of BTC or XLM as "cash back" reward. The card swaps your funding crypto for fiat as part of the purchasing process, so I could see this as some evidence for it running on the Stellar Network. Many are saying the whole Flare thing is a marketing ploy to boost pricing for their supposed supported and integrated coins. A lot the big exchanges who held XRP wallets at time of the snapshot claim Flare is not going to be doing airdrops at all. Especially if you factor all those sold Flare/Spark IOU's. Its not looking too good. |
