Did you mean when "literally" the dam breaks?
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 30194388

Figuratively. Unless you know of a crypto dam I don't.
 Quoting: Luminous Epinoia

I do.

It's called the Three George's Dam.

BTC and most China Coins will go with the dam when it literally breaks, since the BTC servers are actually inside the dam. Or so I'm told...

Appreciate that. I know what's going on over there but never put it together with Three Gorges.

Good stuff.

Malaysia Steamrolls Bitcoin Mining Machines

2021/07/19 This really happened in Malaysia. In order to show they mean business, the Malaysian police publicized a video of a steamroller destroying over $1.25 million worth of bitcoin mining machines that were seized from electricity thieves.

Give it 10 days the July 28 deadline could change things
 Quoting: Edmond Dantès

Personally and this is just a hunch, but I see a pretty big backslide coming. During the March 2020 crash we went down to .11 and then got to .80. During the lawsuit crash we went down to .17 and made it to 1.96. I wouldn't be surprised if it happened one last time before this all clears up.

Either way the end of July has a lot going on.

For anyone that holds FLR from the expected airdrop, this is surprising to see. Makes me wonder if it's tied to the lawsuit stretching on.

With that said if you held through the snapshot you're getting SGB tokens too.

Yes David Schwartz has stated that they created a private ledger for some banks that asked for it.

I have wondered if they are testing XRP on the private ledger at the real, appreciated, utility price value.

Why would they delist xrp when ripple is so close to a settlement with the SEC?

Not trying to be negative but if they didn't want many hodlers becoming rich they could certainly do this and the public wouldn't be the wiser. I've seen glitches on certain sites of XRP at 17K and 51K, pretty much in line with BTC prices. I wonder if that is the private that had a momentary bleed through.

I think the next 2 weeks are going to be informative and interesting.

We have the deposition on the 27th. The request for regulation on the 28th.

I've thought about the theory that they dont want regular people like us to be rich. XRP holders are such a small percentage in the crypto world. They will need people like us to rejuvenate the economy.

Does the total number of XRP wallets/accounts include institutional accounts as well? Or is is just retail holders?

But yeah we look at the "XRP richlist" and we do have to include just what you said, that people who hold XRP have more than one wallet. I'm hardly a whale and I have XRP in 3 different places. Should probably split it up even more.

My question is why do I keep dropping on the rich list at the same time the price is dropping? Shouldn't the price be going up because people are obviously buying and holding?

Yes and add to that Bretton Woods is in early August. Lots happening all around the same time.

XRP holders do make up such a small part of the population. I have only recently been hearing theories that the public will not cash in on the banking ledger. Not too sure what I think about that at this point.

I'm not sure what the institutional side looks like but I would think because we can all see the entire ledger that it would have to be in wallets. Then again there's so much we are not privy to.

I too am not a whale but have a pretty strong bag. It's split in several locations as well. I do know that the whale accounts were holding 30M+ XRP nine months ago. However people we're watching their every move and they broke them up into much smaller wallets. The .0001 makes a lot of rational sense.

The banks are making their own private CBDC's based on the XRPL ledger. Then they plan to use XRP as the bridge between each other to settle payments.

So think of it more like lots of little private XRPL's that uses the real XRP between them.

Re: The XRP Investor Thread
When looking at any crypto, people need to consider the massive changes happening to our planet. We are in the midsts of a revolution that has never occurred before. This makes the industrial Revolution look like a simpleton joke.

Crypto currency, particularly XRP are at the very beginning of their useful life. They will grow massively and morph over the next ten years to accommodate our AI regulated technocratic world. We mustn’t simply look at crypto as only a quick pay out investment. It is far bigger than that rookie level thinking.

Broken fiat currency will go bye bye. The agenda is working furiously behind the scenes to implement the new system. Life it or not this is happening.

And it’s not just economic. Every aspect of life on earth is changing at light speed. And humans are not the ones implementing these changes.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 78800197

Brilliant post. Could not have said it better myself. Especially the non-human implementation, that really nails it.

This is certainly part of it. They plan to peg XRP at the value of Gold - then use it when transactions cross national lines. Cheap, environmentally friendly, and fast.

I definitely understand that. I'm more referencing the idea of a hidden ledger that us retailers never get to be a part of. Not saying it's true, just that I've been hearing rumors about it recently.
