IF Ripple Wins SEC Lawsuit Xrp Poised for Significant Adoption

well yeah, duh that's the plan XD
the XRP community is usually a lot of smart cookies, but people selling or getting emotionally upset over the lawsuit is a waste of time, in the long run it's a good thing!

Banks need these kind of regulations before they can even discuss using it in their board rooms

there is a saying in the financial world along the lines of 'nothing happens without the nod of approval from jp morgan/goldman sachs'

the point of the SEC is to bend/make the rules for the big banks so they can swindle at will, making so much then pay tiny fines if they get caught, SEC relies on fees to pay their bills! they got caught manipulating silver, they keep doing it, with gold and ethereum too

that's why I keep saying accumulate & don't sell, it's still so freaking early---just need as much patience as one can muster

I've heard that before and know it to be true. Totally agree with everything said here. The patience wears thin at times but is arguably the most important part of one's portfolio, especially when its XRP centric.

Re: The XRP Investor Thread
I'm left remembering a time when XLM and XRP were the same price...

I'm also remembering reading once where some guy said, "Never sell any of your crypto"

Now, I've done that. I've traded all my shitcoins into SGB for the snapshot and have moved all XRP into XUMM. Considering moving XLM into LOBSTR, it looks like they're wanting to do the same kind of governance token at some point for XLM inside LOBSTR like Bitrue does with BTR and what Xumm is going to do with XRP?

I get anxious sometimes and I just wanna hop into my Delorean time machine and jump forward 6 months just to see what it looks like!
 Quoting: AxX

Just to be clear, the SGB snapshot has nothing to do with XUMM nor XRP and only your SGB tokens on Bitrue?

I've also yet to hear of any Xumm government token.
 Quoting: Luminous Epinoia

Correct. SGB snapshot for ExFi isn't "XUMM/XRP". It's for any wallet/exchange that's holding SGB (and supports it).

We know Coinbase is shitty and doesn't support anything.

But if you hold SGB on Bitrue or even in cold storage Ledger, you'll get the ExFi airdrop.

"Got a cousin that works at Royal Bank of Canada (head office in Toronto). Works in the upper administrative department. Decided to pick his brain about XRP and other cryptos (he never volunteers any info, I always have to ask very specific questions and usually he just resorts to “yes”, “no”, “maybe”, or “I dont know” kind of answers, but I know he definitely knows more). He knew of the looming financial crisis of 2008 and gave hints about it back as early 2006, but I was too stupid to listen and pay attention to what he was saying back then.

Called him up thinking I’d get nothing. Boy was I wrong!

Specifically asked him had he heard anyone mention XRP/Ripple at all, ever, at work. He said yes. Asked him if he had heard anything (from rumors to real factual info) about interest in partnerships with Canadian banks in conjunction with XRP/Ripple. He said maybe.

Asked him whether it would be good idea to sell off XRP (that I was thinking about selling off a good portion if it hit the $5-$10 mark to make a nice profit). He said no.

Then he said something that I never thought he would say. He said whatever crypto-currencies I had, no matter what they were, no matter how little or a lot, to never sell them. I asked him why and wouldnt it make sense if you could turn around and sell it for a nice profit if you could. Again he said no dont do it. Kept prodding to find out why specifically he would say that, he just kept saying “DONT!”, “DON’T DO IT”. He got pissed off at me for prodding, so I apologized and backed off.

I wonder what the hell he knows.

Any idea what to make of “dont get rid of any cryptos you have”? Why not? Doesnt make sense. If you have a crappy performing crypto why not get rid of it?"

Very. It’s where I traded for it.

For me, it was either leave it there or transfer it to Ledger with some weird way of making SGB work. I was more comfy just leaving it. If needed, I can SGB/XRP then send to Xumm pretty quick without tapping cold storage.

Yeah I've got my whole XRP sack on XUMM and I am signed up for the airdrop. Whatever SOLO they give me is better than nothing. I'm not even planning on dumping it!

I'm planning on holding my airdrop too. But I am dumping on Christmas eve. That's for sure.

I cannot see another move other than dumping immediately after the snapshot. The price is going to plummet imo. Considering what SOLO is doing in the NFT market, it would be crazy to not hold the airdrop to see what happens to it.

But hopeful I'll get a few for my XRP balance in Xumm

If I did, I'd have to buy XLM on Coinbase (KYC), then send 100% of it to Bitrue for a XLM/XRP swap. Then send XRP to Xumm and then "exchange" for SOLO.
