Wood Cell Remains Drilled from Mars

NASA's Mars rover Curiosity acquired the above image using its Mars Hand Lens Imager (MAHLI), on July 18, 2021, Sol 3181.
Red arrows point to remains of wood cells drilled from the 32nd hole on Mars.

Reasons why they are wood cell remains:
1. Red arrows point to cross section of wood cells. Compare them with Earthly wood cells at [link to www.flickr.com (secure)]
2. Red arrows point to particles that are the sizes of sand grains (see [link to www.flickr.com (secure)] ).
Sand grains are between 62 and 2,000 micrometers across. However, no sand grains show the morphology of these particles.
3. Only plant life has such cells.
