If you have lots of money then silver is heavy as fuck. Instead I’d buy mostly gold and maybe some junk silver. Land is good to buy. Food and water for 3mo+, ar-15, glock, ammo, reliable vehicle, extra fuel. That’s probably a good way for a prepper to invest their first 100k anything over that I’d throw into stocks, houses, other financial products. But have a hard asset nest egg.

Invest in cigarettes. Vacuum seal. When the supply chain shuts down, cigs will be very popular with some.

Invest in cigarette lighters. Buy lots of them from dollar store. Cheaper, more barterable and good for lighting other things besides cigarettes. Being able to start a fire is critical for survival.

Skip bitcoin and get privacy coins like monero. Bitcoin is outdated early generation crypto and you have no privacy. Whenever you transact bitcoin with someone they have your address and can now monitor how much money you have in your wallet and all your transactions. How would you like to have a bank account where everyone can see your transactions and balance amount? I sure wouldn't.

Bitcoin is also not a currency. Monero is.

Why anyone would want bitcoin is beyond me.

Dental and Medical Issues should be at the top of your list.
Get your home fixed.. auto brakes, new bright headlights, tires, starters, etc fixed now.
A truck if more valuable than a car..
Trailers are good for hauling .. no matter where you live.
Storage Containers.. like for food.. 5 gallon food grade buckets with screw on tops are handy.. keeps bugs out too..
Cooking equipment... Air Fryer, Crockpot, cook books, equipment to cook outside..

You have to be more self sufficient.. tools, ramps, dolly, tillers, garden tools, tie down straps, etc..

A barking dog is handy.. they are always alert to noise.. they can hear better than you can.

Rentals... you have to pay to maintain them, evictions.. legal issues.. Are you ready for that.
