Having an awfully difficult time following my own damn advice today. Combatting darkness from without and from within. I really could use a dose of God's light and that's where I'm running into some issues.

I'm not here for a pity party or a psych session, so I'll just sum up it as the idea of me receiving unconditional love and support is very foreign to me - to the point that it makes me physically ill to even consider it. Faith that God's love is real isn't the problem, accepting it for myself is proving to be extremely difficult.

I'm wondering if you have any particular scriptures you might point to that could help give me clarity on this. I feel like I don't really even know where to start.
