Mars Ground Has Numerous Wood Cell Remains.

NASA's Mars Perseverance rover acquired this image using its PIXL Micro Context Camera.
This image was acquired on Jul. 13, 2021 (Sol 141).
Red arrows point to remains of wood cells on Mars.

Reasons why they are wood cell remains:
1. Red arrows point to cross section of wood cells. Compare them with Earthly wood cells at [link to www.flickr.com (secure)]
2. Red arrows point to particles that are the sizes of sand grains (see [link to www.flickr.com (secure)] ).
Sand grains are between 62 and 2,000 micrometers across. However, no sand grains show the morphology of these particles.
3. Only plant life has such cells.
