Honestly I am really confused about it all. I am an RN and had covid in Nov 2020. For me it really didn’t end up being a big deal, felt like more than a cold but I didn’t get serious symptoms or even anything that seemed to affect my breathing at all. I did however have a patient at that same time who was late 60s, diabetic but otherwise did seem pretty physically okay and then he got it and didn’t make it. So I’ve experienced it and that was pretty mild but seen someone have severe effects. As a nurse I have not gotten the vax yet but am on the fence…I have what I hope is natural immunity after having it but what if this new variant - bio weapon or not - ends up hitting those of us unvaxxed extra hard. I’m not so worried about myself but my husband…we are just not sure what direction to go but kind of want to both get it or not get it together…it’s definitely been on my mind a lot lately. Some moments I am just like who cares just get the freaking vax like I have gotten every other vax before (kind of hit or miss on the flu vax) and then the harder they push it the more resistant to getting it I become…gosh, just don’t know but I need to pray about it and try to get some clarity.
