At my quarterly MD visit today I got results from my blood draw antibody test. Unlike the BS PCR, this test is highly accurate.

Both exposure and infection positive.

My symptoms were exactly as you describe.

When I was at my worst, I drank a couple of cups of Chinchona bark tea (quinine).

Within 2 hours I felt MUCH better. Stuff really works. My wife had the same experience.

After that it was just like getting over a nasty cold.

However, 4 months later and my sense of smell is still ~ 75% - 80% of what it was previously.
