Take Deut 6:4 where God says he is one. That is what is written...

What is NOT written however....like wouldnt that be a perfect opportunity for God to write I am one but three? But yet, he is silent on it.

Crack open the Good Book again and see what you think.

The triune God (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit) can be seen from Genesis to Revelation. Read yourself some John Owen to see wonderfully. Also, when Jesus was baptised by John, that's pretty powerful as you witness all 3 persons of the Godhead.

Even in sanctification, we see the triune nature of God:

1. Jesus Justified us and delivered us (past tense) from the penalty of sin through his sacrifice and atoning blood.

2. The comforter (Holy Spirit) is sent by God through Jesus to remind us of all things and in Sanctification, He delivers us (present tense) from the power of sin in our lives, as believing Christians. It's a lifelong journey of being made more holy and towards the image of Christ.

3. The Father at resurrection and rapture will Glorify us by making that which is corruptible -- incorruptible and that which is mortal -- immortal. In this act of Glorification, the Father will deliver (future tense) His children from the very power [I meant presence of sin, whereby the fleshly man will be removed and in his place, we will have a glorified body. Just like Jesus, while he walked on earth for 40 days after He resurrected. He could eat, drink, and be seen by everyone, but he could also go anywhere and everywhere in His glorified body. He was NOT just a spirit, but a physical glorified body.

I won't be planning anything, but some people a few pages back in the comments mentioned they wanted to organize a discussion area. Maybe check with them to see if they've figured out how to do that.

i don't know about organizing it, but i would love to discuss what we are reading.

i agree with you that God will use these readings to bless all of us, including any discussions of it (perhaps in another thread).

The 3 verses in the KJV that say "godhead" would make more sense if they said either "deity" or "divinity". see the Gree...

Where does Jesus say this phrase - "I am God"?
Where does anyone say this phrase - "Jesus IS God"?
