I have resisted getting the vaccine so far. However, I am facing oral surgery soon, and wonder if I should go ahead and get the shot beforehand. Of all the people I know, no one who has had the vaccine has had any serious side effects. I am in the New Orleans area, and Covid rates are going up fast lately, so the peer pressure is rising accordingly. The oral surgery is to extract a wisdom tooth.
Here is my question for the GLP hive mind: If I do cave in and get myself vaccinated, which vaccine should it be, and why?

The people who got Pfizer, they tended to feel sicker with some fever. But it probably depends on each person's immune system. I know someone who got the Moderna and has been "tired" every day since...for 2 months.
