I have resisted getting the vaccine so far. However, I am facing oral surgery soon, and wonder if I should go ahead and get the shot beforehand. Of all the people I know, no one who has had the vaccine has had any serious side effects. I am in the New Orleans area, and Covid rates are going up fast lately, so the peer pressure is rising accordingly. The oral surgery is to extract a wisdom tooth.
Here is my question for the GLP hive mind: If I do cave in and get myself vaccinated, which vaccine should it be, and why?
Quoting: Gemini Rising Don't do it. It'll ruin your life and you'll regret it. There are two people now in my family who are quickly deteriorating health-wise since they got the clot shots. One got Moderna and one got J&J. A friend of a friend got Pfizer a couple days ago and was rushed to the hospital today because she lost the ability to speak or form sentences. Most likely a stroke. Just don't. Please.
