This is true. Yes, some of it is pesticides, other pollution & human induced habitat loss - but clearly there's some other external force at work here. I think it is the change in the nature of the solar radiation the planet receives now. It is different from when I was a child 50 yrs ago. The paint on street signs did not use to fade out over a single year. And I could play out in the yard all day without sunscreen or suffering any major sunburn issues. Now, if I go out in the yard mid-day during the summer I can feel it start cooking my skin after only 20 min. So, all yardwork gets done at dawn and dusk these days. It's cooler then too and I'm old and can't take the heat anymore...

Yes, when you go deep into the reasoning behind all this crap, there is no other explanation.
