Civilization peaked under the Khwarazmian Empire, it never fell on prime. An alliance with Byzantium crushed the mongols. They wipe their butts with silk.
Used portals instead of rockets and flight.
Took alot of intervention to bring them down.
There was no European golden Age, all the wealth remained in the East.
