Trying to type streams of conciousness, hitting send, then going back to read I forgot complete words that I didn't type.

All of us will die.

Then eventually our children and grandchildren will too and our memory will be forgotten.

So it doesn’t matter what we will be “remembered” for.

My excellent children. An asset to the community and the world. Best thing I ever did. Thank God they are out of school now!

When you depart from here, you’ll have definitely left an impact on someone, it will either be positive or negative.

And it does matter. How we treat people and how we live our lives Impacts everyone around us.

Someone will remember you and it will either be a good memory or a bad one. Only you can help shape the outcome.

For those who know me on a personal level, they will probably say something like:

"Decent guy, God-fearing Christian, hard worker, confident. Hurry up and bury his ass
and lets go have lunch."

Why does it matter that anyone remembers you? Why worry about it. You will not be conscious to care when you are dead.

Nothing. Far too many who have done much more than I are forgotten the week after they die. What's important is what you did to help others.. It's like doing the right thing, you do it because it's right, not because there's any reward or prize or a legacy thing. That's what matters, legacy is for people like the Clinton's, it's usually fake and worthless.... Those you helped and loved is what matters not the remembrance, God knows.

Exactly! If you can't make and impact when you are alive, what difference will your life make when you are dead? In history, people are usually remembered for the tyrants they were, not the contributions they made for any longer than five minute after they die.

Most people lament of the tragedy that came to be, not how a person change and enriched their lives. Truth is people want to believe they are where they are at, because they are better than the rest and did it all themselves. They forget about those that helped build their lives, as soon as they have made to to where they are at. After that they want to be admired and looked up to as pillars of their community, weather they have helped anyone or not. It is hypocritical for them to worry about how others will remember them after they die. But, they gave great presentations professionally and nice dinner parties.

I'll be remembered as that mother fucker who wouldn't die!
