If that ice is just water, there are droughts in a lot of places, why aren't they mining the water at the poles as mostly it is a problem if it melts, and goes into the oceans?

Some people could make a living and others could have water for storage and for the crops they need to grow, and many other uses.

There is a problem, the solution is right in their faces and has been for hundreds of years yet they scream about not having enough water.
