This is hilarious. Yeah the bars shut down for a few months. Like everywhere else. Austin was damn near back to normal after 6 or 7 months, except capacities and masks. There were protest, but almost nothing reassembling actual violence. Fake news. Also, I'm not left or right. Y'all are all ridiculous to me

Re: The Fall of Austin
Very, very sad. I used to live there. Had an apt on 4th street at what used to be called The Railyard. I could walk over to 6th street any night of the week. It was safe, and fun and lots of places to eat and drink. Tons of GOOD live music. Baxter's Jazz. Front row seats for Kirk Whalum. The 80's were the peak of Austin's music and lifestyle culture and it's been a rocket ride downhill since California came to town.

got two friends currently living in the ATX.
Both watched the video and they said, that must be from many months back. They have a homelessness problem, they said, but the city is doing well. Heck, they both introduced me to AJ back in the day, so if they are not complaining, I'm going to have to say the video is fake in the sense that is not current austin as of this month or last.

Yes, very sad. Austin used to be safe and a blast back then. I remember drive thru margaritas and pretty much legal shrooms we'd pick grocery bags full of every year. Did you know a guy who called himself Willie Khomani? He had some great parties.

Just went to atx about a month ago. Compared to precovid, I’d say it was about medium, not packed like before but not desolate like the video. Whole Foods was all face mask, but most weren’t. The worst part was the homeless people under the highway. It’s like a log in the woods that looks quiet, but when you kick it, all these insects and ants come swarming out. It was real bad, but I heard they cleaned it up recently.

Branson Missorri is run by the Southern mafia. Riots will never happen there, the good ol boy network runs that town and you'd get your head blown off trying anything. Theres is also nothing there to see or do for most of us including most blacks, it's a bunch of tacky ya hoo shows and bars mostly for really older southern seniors. The obesity you see makes you literally cry.
