SOME LOS ANGELES RESTAURANTS TEMPORARILY CLOSE AMID COVID-19 SPIKE
So if the reason for the spike was because a fully vaccinated employee contracted Covid...and the county is now advising wearing a mask regardless of vaccine status...what good is the vaccine?

Does anybody check to see how long after people are fully vaccinated that they are getting infected anyway?

Nobody is making sense anymore

You can say that again. Blaming unvaccinated for vaccinated people getting Covid...just odd.

No research just reaction and blame.

This has to end soon.

They'll demonize the unvaxxed for another few months to get as much mileage possible.

Re: SOME LOS ANGELES RESTAURANTS TEMPORARILY CLOSE AMID COVID-19 SPIKE
What are we going to do, close down every time there's a new virus of some sort? The time has long passed where we should have moved forward and just accept what will happen.

I also do not understand why they would close down, considering they hate the unvaccinated. It punishes the vaccinated. And if the vaccinated are truly safer, then why would they even care about the unvaccinated? None of this makes any sense. The only sense it makes is that there's a nefarious motive behind this to blame the unvaccinated. It's not going to work, at least in the US.

I still think the vaccinated are not getting Covid they are having a reaction to the vaccine. It's the only thing that makes sense. And the all out cries to blame the unvaccinated for these issues is misdirection.

none of it does

its all a big circular argument that is quickly replacing the hate people had for each other over politics, now its this.

guess it'll always be something to make people hate each other

Could be. Only time will tell and the facts will come out, eventually. If Bossche is right, there could be a lot of people who's immune systems are overreacting. We know the virus is everywhere and impossible to avoid (if you leave your home that is).

I personally do not know anyone yet who is unvaccinated who picked up the delta. I'm not suggesting that it's not possible, just stating my experience. I do see the stories of the unvaccinated who got it on Yahoo, but of course, I cannot verify if those stories and people are real.

The one thing nobody mentions is re-infection. If you have had the virus you are immune...and I would say many of the unvaccinated have had the virus. So the vaccinated should have nothing to fear...but they are afraid of something.

I was using the public bus to get to work from January 2020 to March 2020. I was sick twice during this time. I'm 99% certain I had covid. It was only 2 days of mild headache/fever and some stomach pain early on. I'm type 0 negative blood, so perhaps that's why I had a mild case.

I heard somewhere that most Asians who had SARS back in 2003, they did not get sick from covid19 because of their T-cell memory. Of course, it's possible to get sick again if one has a run down immune system from not sleeping, etc.

I take 1,000 mg of vitamin C, some D and zinc every day, and I believe it has kept me mostly well.

I had a sinus infection back in October 2020 that lasted 2 days. Other than that, no new viruses or colds since then (knock on wood). I was not taking 1,000 mg of vitamin C during the months I got sick in 2020. I was taking maybe 80 mg per day.

Many people I know that were sick with Covid have not gotten even the sniffles since.
