It was from "Shrek for Jesus," but sounded legit: "I'm a northeast regional tractor trailer driver I heard reports of no delivery trucks on the road towards the southern states I played it off didn't take it to seriously today was in maryland towards dc around I 270 corridor I seen very little food deliverys taking place ,very little truck traffic until I hit the pa border ,we need to pray in jesus name for our country our familys and that he steps in that's all we have !!!"

Today I ordered grocery pickup from Walmart. Usually Friday is a well stocked,lots of help working day. They were out of so much! In 6 cases I ordered a little pack of this or that and they were out and substituted with larger packs. Financially it was great but I did not have room for it, and had to break up the cheese and stuff into smaller packs. It was all dairy & frozen foods.

Talked to my friend who is in the vitamin/healthcare business. His shelves were getting empty. He said that the bigger companies like Amazon are taking all of the orders up. Also noticed more shortages, such as shampoo at Walmart, bigger bottles again like with COVID shortages, like one size fits all kind of thing.
