Actually, those "raise from the dead" accounts were all plagiarized. As is much of the New Testament.

Original version: Horus raised El-Azur-Us from the dead.

Plagiarized version: "Jesus" raised "Lazurus" from the dead.

Note the similarity between Horus/Jesus, and El-Azur-Us/Lazurus.

THose claims are based on writings produced after the events of the gospels. You got the plagerism wrong way around. Some antichristians thought they could plagerize the Bible and then pretend the Bible plagerized them.

Everything in the Bible was documented by the actual people there at the time. The Horus stuff was written way after the Bible was written and supposedly based on hear-say of things they claimed happened before. In other words, the Horus stuff was created by antichristians after the Bible, then they claim it was before the Bible, but all they have for that is hear-say, because the actual writing was done after.

The Horus thing is like if I write a story today that's a complete plagerism of LotR, then I claim I was passed down the story from my ancestors who lived before LotR was written, therefore LorR is actually a plagerism of me. All I have to base my case on is hear-say, because the actual writting of it occured way after LotR. The case against me would be based on actual things written.

Bible: Written by people who were there at the time and witnessed and experienced the actual thing.

So, how could the Bible plagerize something that was written way after Bible? The only case for Horus story existing before Bible is "my grandma told me." There is no pre-Biblical written record, just hearsay.

Someone digging up a idol in the desert and deciding it's "Horus" and making up a story that the idol supposedly represents is also hogwash, just like when catholics were digging up vials of "Jesus' blood" everywhere during the crusades and selling them at exorbitant prices to the unsuspecting.
