Re: Walmart ammo policy wrote wrong!
Uhhhhh, are you dumb?
It clearly states 3 boxes of ammo per person, per day. Get 3 boxes today, get 3 tomorrow, etc, etc.
Maybe you shouldn't be owning a firearm.....
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 76883161

"per caliber 1"

then three per day period...
 Quoting: BRIEF

They told me 1 box period, with at least 30 plus boxes on the shelf.

Re: Walmart ammo policy wrote wrong!
I went to Walmart in Algood Tennessee to get the stuff I needed and seen they had ammo for sale on the shells. Their ammo policy posted on the shelf says.....

" Due to current supply and demand, availability of ammunition is limited from manufacturers. To help as many members of the community as possible, we are limiting the sales of ALL ammunition to 3 boxes per customer per day.
Per caliber (1)." Does that mean I can buy 3 boxes of 1 type of ammo or just 1 box of ammo period? They said I could only buy 1 box.
At every Walmart I can buy 3 boxes of any ammo I want and all the Walmart,s nation wide have the same policy. Well they called security and had me removed from the store for asking about the policy posted on the ammo shelf. They followed me all the way out shouting at me and I was embarrassed in front of 100s of people and in front of my customers. They made me feel like I had stole something and treated me that way and threatened to call the police. What is the right thing to do? Please give me your honest opinion. Thank you!
 Quoting: clovis1128

You do nothing, in fact make it even better by pretending they really effected you

This is called ENABLEING
What you have done is made them feel they did the right thing. So their minds they activated that this behaviour worked and can do this again.

But the next time they do it too a real lunatic. Who comes back and lead deads everyone

You see, they just killed themselves and you had to do

NOTHING : ) :) :) :) : ) hehehehhehehhehe

There is a reason you dont behave like this, I do it to people all the time. about 80% of them end up in jail or dirt

Never under estimate the power of nothing.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 71365124

I walked out calmly to the exit not saying a word the whole time. It's all on tape. I walked to my car, opened the door , started the car and drove off like I always do. I didn't create the Sean. They did!

Re: Walmart ammo policy wrote wrong!
You can on.y buy 1 box of each ammo for a total of 3 boxes. They cannot sell you 3 boxes of the same ammo.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 75684896

This is correct.

1 box .223
1 box 9mm
1 box 45ACP

3 total but only 1 of each.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 79903414

They have sold me 3 boxes of the same ammo every Walmart I have shopped at with the same sign posted. I ha e the recites to prove this! Also Walmart don't carry 9mm ammo. No handgun ammo.

Their written policy is clear up until it says "per caliber (1)"

What does that even mean? The 3 boxes per day is clear up till that point.

Does that further limit the purchase to only 1 box per caliber, per person, per day?

In any event, not sure why or how they can justify yelling at you and chasing you out of the store unless there is more to the story.
 Quoting: Justme C'est Moi

I questioned the policy clearly printed on the case. Thats why they did what they did. My lawyer is taking care of the rest. She says open and shut case.
 Quoting: clovis1128

If you are paying your atty by the hour, she will tell you anything to get your money.

If the policy was 1 box of ammo per caliber per day, and you raised a fuss over that and got ejected, you have no case.

Your atty will just bleed you dry. Over what? What damages are you seeking compensation for?

A $20 ammo purchase? $40?

Who pays your atty when you lose?

Attain video and audio if possible and take them to court. Since you are central/east Tn. it should be a slam dunk in court.

Already in possession of my lawyer. Walmart wants to have a sit down before this gets to the news stations.

Go north of Algood to 111 Flea Market there is a guy there that sells ammo not much but he usually keeps common Caliber sizes. Algood is and has been a Gestapo Town for as far back as I can remember. Corruption there goes way back.

Well they picked the wrong one here. I just so happen to know some of the judges in the area and hang out with them and their families on a regular basis. As a matter of fact my lawyer is also a judge.

I tried to buy 3 boxes. They called security and tossed me out of the store plus threatened to call the police. No problem with the way u read it but walmart in Algood Tennessee is violating their own policy. That's the problem. I know how to read. They don't and they want $30.00 a hr. Lol. Talking to a lawyer Monday to see if I have a case. They treated me like a criminal and 100s of people staring on top of the employees running their mouths as I walked out of the store. Stay tuned. I speak to the store manager in 3 days and a lawyer Monday for false advertisement. I have pics and video of the whole thing!
 Quoting: clovis1128

No lawyer will touch your case. You have no damages. Lawyers make money off damages or an hourly fee. Do you want to pay an attorney $200 an hour to make a point?

Maybe stop dealing with an asshole corporation like Walmart might be the best plan.

Just my opinion, sir. I'm not trying to be a dick.

Already have one. Spent the whole day with her and her family. When my customers in the business field I work in are calling me asking me what happened at walmart I believe the damage has been done. Reputation is everything in my field. Not to mention the embarrassment and humiliation I went through.

You don't have a case. It's their stuff. They don't even have to sell it to you at all. Just go somewhere else. I'm curious to see the security footage of this incident to see both sides of the story.

I work with contracts every day. The policy posted is a contract. It's called false advertisement. People get used all the time for the same thing. I can't post a policy saying buy 1 get 1 free and not get my free item. Your stuff or not. If you post a policy you must obey your own policy. Already went over this with my lawyer today. She went in a took pictures of the policy today for herself. Great to have friends in high places.

I assume you meant "Sued" and not "used".

The posted policy is an "offer", not a contract.

Often times there is some other wording in fine print somewhere.
Offer subject to.... Offer void where.... etc.

Also, the wording "This establishment reserves the right to withhold service for any reason". and in selling ammo or firearms, they would have a lot of standing. They are not supposed to sell deadly weapons to someone that gives off the wrong cues. Even if someone passes the background check for a firearm, the store is well within its rights to stop the sale if they believe the buyer is tweaking on some drug or otherwise mentally unbalanced.

You have a first person grammatical train wreck in this sentence.

"I can't post a policy saying buy 1 get 1 free and not get my free item."

If you are the one posting the policy, then you are not the one that gets the free item.

Contracts, offers and an understanding of the law require a mastery of the English language that your posts fail to demonstrate.

Hopefully Walmart pays you an out of court settlement for you to go away that will cover the fee of your "friend" the Atty. Wait to you get the bill for that "friendship".
