Well y'all need to keep it down there cause we already have on going swamp ass up here around Toledo bend. Definitely do not need swamp gas on top of it.

I’m in central Ontario. Was visiting family and we were all outside enjoying the sun. All of a sudden there was a loud boom sound with a little bit of a shake. Everyone down the street came out of their houses to see what it was. It’s like it didn’t have a source. Maybe it was an exploding meteor in the sky. Weird

I caught a piece and put it in my freezer.

I saw a meteor a few years ago at about 3:30 in the morning while I was driving to work. It was a monster. It was a giant flaming ball. I think if it hit Earth it would have exterminated even more dinos.

True story. About 8 or so months ago I was in Dallas. I was out walking around the block, and the direction I was walking for a fraction of a second I saw some kind of space object fly from the sky all the way to the tree line above the ground. After which point I couldn't see it. It looked like it hit the ground only about 1/2 - 1mi away. It fly extremely fast, and was white and bright. I can't remember if it had a tail or if it was just a tracer from it. It kind of looked like a big bright white spark you'd see from a power line or something. So, I thought it might've been that, but there was no explosion or fire. And it flew down from the sky. So, I think it was either a comet or a fireball of some kind, I'm not sure. It made no noise after it hit the ground. There was a house a tree line in the way to see it actually hit the ground. I lost it at tree line level, so I don't know if it actually hit, or if it disintegrated right before.

It was crazy and amazing to see. I love seeing those in the sky, and have never seen one get close to earth. And it was soo close to me. I couldn't walk to it to investigate at the time due to some stuff I had going on. I wouldn't have tried to walk over there and see if I see anything. I talked to a lady that walked by me shortly after, and she didn't see anything. I looked online and on neighbors app, and didn't see anything at all.

Maybe part of the Perseids. They are active from July 17 to August 24. They reach a strong maximum on August 11 or 12.

I think so....My mom when a kid used to put out in the backyard at mid night when i was young like 7 or so as i remember and watch these things...same time every year...

Yes i watched them many summers too.
But the real interesting ones (and potential dangerous) are the sporadic, not part of a meteor shower, like the one in Russia.
