Non-believers can do as they wish. I am simply showing that there are written obligations to protect loved ones. Non-Christians would do well to adopt such policies.

Not all the USA's founding fathers professed publicly to be Christians, but there is evidence that they all upheld the ideals of Christianity as good for the nation. And for good reason.

So yes, anyone who disbelieves the bible is wrong, especially if they themselves have no written guidelines about protecting loved ones to follow. A boat without a rudder is adrift in the sea, and wanders whichever way the wind blows.
