It is an honest question, my Daughter and Son-In-Law concluded, symptomatically, that they have CV19 and got prescribed Ivermectin... It hasn't worked out too well so far.
moderately bad side effects.

What is the general opinion. If you all could be so kind. Thanks in advance for you comments.

I have taken twice, my husband twice, and my daughter once.

I took it the first time while on a road trip to visit my parents who are elderly. After dinner on the way there I had a sudden sore throat and ear ache... oddly I still have swollen gland behind my ear, but whatever it may have been at the time I decided to take the ivermectin we had packed, along with the vitamin protocol which for us is a bunch of different supplements my husband has procured. I didn't want to bring any kind of sickness to my elderly parents.

I didn't ever get sick, and I don't know if I even had CoVid...but it didn't hurt me and it emboldened us for future use.

The next time we took it was after we got home, my husband developed shingles of all things on the last few days of our visit. At first we thought it was poison ivy...but it was really horrible. As it developed we realized what it was and tried a number of normal and advised remedies.

Along the same time me, and one of my young sons developed head aches, sore throat, really super tiny random cough, and unusual nasal discharge. We(my husband and I) decided to try the ivermectin again because again we had been travelling and weren't sure what we might have been exposed to... and since it hadn't hurt me the first time it seemed like it couldn't hurt... and it didn't.

Whatever sickness we had never developed into anything serious, and to our great surprise within 24 hours his shingles were healing. The pain was less invasive and more superficial and the blisters that were coming never came and the ones that were there dried up.

Separately I have a daughter who lives far away and she called me the other day feeling really sick, and afraid that she had caught covid.

***Side note, she thought she had caught herpes from her boyfriend around the same time my husband got shingles, but her test came back that it wasn't herpes... when she started getting sick with whatever this was a few days ago she said that she could tell that rash was coming back also and she was really freaking out**

Anyhow, I went online and ordered her zimectin I think it was called but it was just ivermectin, vitamins and the like, and although she was skeptical she tried it. That night she had a rough night as her sickness, whatever it was, was already running over her when she finally went to pick up the ivermectin BUT after about 15 hours, the next day, she called me and I couldn't believe the improvement.

Not only was she feeling better...she was feeling so good that she had packed up her boyfriends things and moved them to a storage unit and was trying to figure out how to get him out for good...

The cold symptoms were improved and in general she felt better, and at least as of last night she never broke out in the blisters she was afraid were coming and didn't feel like it was going to happen any longer.

So, that is my experience with ivermectin.

SIDE NOTE REGARDING DOSAGE: She accidentally squeezed a bunch out of the tube when she took it, and so I told her to just take like a toothpaste sized amount which is what that weight dose had looked like for me, but I saw that she took a little more than that. I don't know if that is why she had the dramatic improvement or not....I would say it was more dramatic than mine, although I wasn't as sick as her when I decided to take it.

Observation:

Ivermectin doesn't hurt you in the weighted dose, or a slightly bigger dose than weighted, OR when you do it more than once. My husband actually took it two days in a row because ..I don't know why.... but he is still living also.

Another thing nagging at me is that in addition to my husband developing shingles, his grandma has had them for like a year, my other daughter who lives on the West Coast knew two 30- something men who had developed shingles in the last six months. My daughter having something that resembled herpes(shingles?) but wasn't, and this is embarassing to say but I actually had something like that as well that came and went over the last year or so...but in my butt.

Question:

Has anyone else had unusual experiences with shingles/herpes like virus recently(last few years?)
