I am really curious to know about the 2 dead, 2 brain dead you know who died of covid; what where their ages - any co-morbidities? Information like that is important - did they die WITH covid or FROM Covid as there is a big difference.

I know this as my mother passed away in January. She was, up until 5-6 years ago, a lifetime smoker and had COPD and had to carry an oxygen tank around wherever she went, which was basically from the bed to the couch.

She inadvertently fell, breaking a leg and ended up in the hospital, which is pretty much a death-sentence for the aged. From December to January, she was shifted from hospital to hospice and never really regained full cognition. An 'outbreak' of covid happened at the hospice and of course she got it, we were told. But really, for an 82 year-old with COPD, was it the covid or a lifetime of smoking that got her?
