Yeah, even if Odenkirk isn’t a lefty sheep (and I have no idea on that, but he probably is), the amount of pressure absolutely surrounding every production is insane. I’m sure that the vax is mandated for all cast and crew at this point.

I had a very good friend who was a set PA on Mr. Show. He said that Odenkirk was something of a prick and an asshole…but that never much surprised me. He really never presented himself as anything else.

I liked your anecdote. Would it be a career ended today? I really don’t think so. That behavior (and to me, that sounds more funny than threatening) good AND bad, still goes on. It’s still the norm. They’re only using the ‘me too’ stuff as a weapon to whack those who they need to remove. If you notice, everyone who had their careers ended were people who were a ‘threat’ for another reason. Miserable pricks who made a ton of enemies.

The selfish part of me is bummed that the show will be further delayed (or might not wrap at all). I enjoy it.

A key Peaky Blinders actress died during the stoppage too. Oh well - if producers slack off for too long, they don't get to tell their story at all. Basic cause and effect.

Yeah, Banks has been looking like a corpse, and less and less like a tough guy. I was also kind of wishing they’d hurry the hell up for his sake.

Albuquerque has really gone all in on declaring itself the meth capital of the world. They take a lot of pride in it for some reason.

Other than film, Albuquerque's entire economy depends on federal funding from the labs, air force bases and schools ever since they drove away all of the private sector companies. NM did pretty well in oil until Biden gutted that.
