These hoaxers never get wild animal fur correct. Look at the Bison further down that same page. Patchy, large spots of dried dirt and shit, color variations, etc. Nothing like the perfect fur on this "Bigfoot."

I'm not impressed.
Having grown up near there I can say being scared was silly as the "creature" was across the lake from the guy and was not a threat. Lake Cumberland isn't some pond it could have walked around.
Also, could have been a Black man with black swim trunks backlit. Fuzzy edges on a wildly contrasted object with a digital camera isn't that odd.
Get me a high quality still on FILM properly done to avoid digital artifacts and conversion issues.


And the Tik Tok below that looked like an old chimpanzee walking through trees. Could have been filmed at a nature preserve or in a zoo.

I have been as close as ten feet from an adult male bigfoot.
